  • Dr. Iain Hunter is looking for a few volunteers to be in a study.  You will be doing a couple of threshold-pace runs, one with an ice vest on and one with it off, to determine its effects on core body temperature in runners.  He asks that you be an experienced, somewhat competitive runner to participate.  There is a cash reward involved!  Let us know if you are interested.

  • In addition, the BYU Turkey Trot is on Thursday.  We will be running it instead of meeting at 5:00 pm for our normal run.  It begins at 4:00 pm, is about 2.5 miles long, and is free to full-time students and faculty (or others who have paid their intramural activity fee).  There are some pretty good awards and prizes (in a drawing), so come join the fun!  Details can be found at http://neon.byu.edu/~intramurals/pdf/turkeytrot.pdf
